Dressed Bed

I made this bed in a workshop in my store more than 10 years ago! But I only made 2 little pillows for it at the time. So I dug into my stash for the fabric – can you believe I kept the fabric?! Of course you can 😊 Then I dug into my stash of ribbon and trim… luckily I had trim that worked with the fabric; I even had a couple of choices. So I made the four larger pillows by folding over the fabric inside-out and then sewing straight lines down to form the sides on the machine. I turned the pillows right side out and then filled with coarse sand, folded over the top and glued together with fabric glue. Voila! The hardest part was making the little ribbon “flower” on the round pillow.
