Unfortunately they are closer to Barbie scale … (see pic below with 1″ scale chair for size) Of course I still bought them because I am using them in my big house!
They were a matte black plastic which had to go!! First I primed them with a plastic paint. Then painted them a light blue using regular acrylic paint. I wasn’t super careful with the paint job in order to save time but I did get pretty good coverage with 2 coats!
Then I used a product called Sugru to attach the chairs to the wall. Sugru is a moldable silicone glue that cures in 24 hours. And if you want to remove it, you just cut it off the wall! No drilling holes or screwing into the wall.
After letting the Sugru cure overnight, voila! Holders for blind cords!
I am so happy with how they look and thrilled with another way to incorporate minis into my house!
